The Jet Airways flight which took off at 7 pm was to fly to Saudi via Abu Dhabi. It is learnt they were informed that their tickets  have already been booked by others as they were not confirmed and had been cancelled.  Though five of the passengers had their tickets, they too refused to board the flight.

The passengers had to remain stranded at the airport well past midnight after which they were taken to Kochi by two buses so that they could board another flight  in the morning.

Meanwhile, one of the agents of the travel agency who was present at the airport claimed that it was not the agency’s fault.
