Haj Bhavan to be constructed at Adyar soon : Minister Zameer Ahmed

Mangaluru, Nov 16, 2018:  State Minister for Food and Civil Supplies, Wakf and Minorities Department  Zameer Ahmed has informed that the construction of Haj Bhavan would commence soon after identifying land for the purpose at Adyar.

 

 Speaking at a  progress review meet  at the Circuit House on November 16, Friday, he said that the government would   solve the problems arising at  fair price shops  in installing Point of Sale  due to network issues,   by convening a meeting to discuss the issue.

He said   at present fair price shop owners were spending from their own pockets for installing computers, printers and other  equipment, while in some cases  shop owners complain of network problem. He said the government would  solve the issue by   entering into agreement with private companies.

Officials drew the attention of the minister towards the  problems faced by applicants for additions and corrections in ration cards. On this occasion, officials also highlighted the staff shortage problem in the Food Department. The minister assured to discuss the issue with the Commissioner of the Food Department.

Several officials  of the departments concerned attended the meeting.
