Speaking to reporters  here on April 22, Tuesday, he said such moves  would only demoralise the Anti-Naxal Force. He was also critical of Mangalore North MLA Moidin Bava for holding a press meet with  one of the cattle transporters and defending the cattle trafficking instead of condemning cattle smuggling.”This has given room for suspicion if the MLA too had a role in cattle smuggling,” he said.

Satyajith further said the vehicle of the cattle transporters had over 20 cows while as per rules only two cows could be transported at a time. He urged the government to withdraw the compensation of Rs 5 lakhs to the family of Kabeer  until the CID probe into the case was completed.

Vedike leaders Kishore, Subhash Padil and Raviraj were also present.
