Mangaluru, August 18, 2019: Former CM H D Kumaraswamy who lashed out at the present CM B S Yediyurappa for handing over the  alleged phone tapping case to the CBI, said he does not care whoever does the probe.  "If not CBI, let them investigate through an international agency with the help of Trump,"  Kumaraswamy retorted angrily while speaking to media men during his visit to the Kukke Subrahmanya Shrine on August 18, Sunday.

He said the JD(S) will extend its full co-operation for the probe. At the same time he  lashed out at the media and said electronic media was trying to drag him in the case and create a discord between him and the people. "I am not involved in any phone tapping case," Kumaraswamy clarified.

He alleged that a section of the electronic media was trying to tarnish his image in public by “cooking up stories” against him in the matter to ensure that he lost people’s trust.

Former minister Sara Mahesh, JD(S) State Vice President M B Sadashiva, MLC Bhoje Gowda and others were present.
