Gulf NRI Forum seeks better facilities in Mangaluru-Kuwait direct flights

Mangaluru, Feb 17, 2015: The Gulf NRI Forum of Kuwait while thanking the DGCA India, Air India and DGCA Kuwait for restarting the direct flight services between Mangaluru and Kuwait has requested for measures to improve services in the Air India Express flights on the sector.

Speaking to reporters here on February 16, Monday, Pascal Pinto, President of the Forum pointed out that the direct flights greatly helped the growth of tourism and also boosted medical tourism.

He also made a request to the authorities to fix convenient flight timings and added that the present timings wherein the departure from Kuwait is at 12 pm IST and arrival at 7.15 pm IST inconvenienced many particularly when flights get delayed. He also stated that the earlier timings wherein the departure from Kuwait was at 12 am and arrival at 7.15 am was best suited.

Another request made by him was better in-flight services particularly to elderly passengers, mothers and infants. He also stated that newspapers and TV facility are not provided to passengers in Air India Express when compared to other budget airlines and hoped Air India Express would consider their demands.
