Govts playing with the sentiments of coastal people : Poojary

 Mangalore Mar 12, 2016: People of coastal region have been cheated by the government regarding Yettinahole project, said Congress Senior Leader Janardhana Poojary.

Speaking to the Press at Congress office on March 12, Saturday Poojary said that, he was strongly against the implementation of Yettinahole project. Already arecanut, coconut and rubber cultivators are suffering  owing to water scarcity, he added.

He also charged both the Union and State Governments of playing with the sentiments of the people.

Referring to the problems of the farming community, he said none of the  ministers, MPs and MLAs are responding to the problems.

Former Deputy Mayor Purushottam Chitrapur, TK Sudhir and others were present.
