Govt. to go to doorsteps of differently abled : Khader

Mangaluru, Jan 17 2019: The Government itself would make a list of differently abled persons from the district administration to provide houses to them free of cost and hence they need not go to panchayats informed District In Charge Minister and Minister for Urban Development and Housing, at Balepuni here on Wednesday, January 16.


Khader-1.He was inaugurating a massive health camp for differently abled persons and senior citizens at the Government school premises.

Dr. M. Shantharam Shetty, Pro Chancellor, Nitte University, pointed out that the differently abled are not demanding compassion but an opportunity needs to be given to them to lead a happy life.

Twenty-five beneficiaries were provided with wheelchairs, 35 with water-bed, 10 with walker and bedpan on the occasion.


Balepuni Panchayat President Leelavathi presided.
