Kundapur, Oct 06, 2015: Former chief minister BS Yeddyurappa on October 5, Monday made a strong case for an expert review of the Yettinahole project in order to put a full stop to all the confusion revolving around the project.
Yeddyurappa was in town for the second leg of his Raitha Chaitanya Yatre. Lashing out at the Siddaramaiah government for not doing much despite farmers committing suicide, Yeddyurappa said the state ministers have failed to visit different places to understand the plight of the farmers and the common man.
Making it clear that he had never aspired nor lobbied for a cabinet berth, Yeddyurappa said his only aim was to strengthen the party.
Refering to the Kalasa Banduri project, Yeddyurappa alleged that Congress President Sonia Gandhi who had visited Goa had opined that the project should not be implemented.
BJP leaders including MP Shobha Karandlaje, former ministers Sriramulu, Kota Srinivas Poojary and others were present.
