The CM later discussed the idea of transforming the isles into tourist attractions with District-in-charge Minister Krishna J. Palemar and N. Yogish Bhat, the deputy speaker, and announced that Rs. 50 lakh will be earmarked for the introduction of two boats to these isles.

A group of journalists along with Palemar were taken on a free boat ride to the isle close to Kadekaru Kshetra on Saturday. The Kshetra President Yogesh Kumar Jeppu said that they now have only one well-equipped boat.

DK has beautiful isles such as Bolla Kudru, Adam Kudru, Hosa Kudru, Gadasu Kudru, Ranipur Uruliya, which are located to the east of Ullal Nethravathi Bridge and come under the jurisdiction of the Revenue Department. Some isles are located to the east and come under the jurisdiction of the port.
