Gopal Murli Bhagat appointed as ED of Corporation Bank

Mangaluru, Sep 02, 2016: Shri Gopal Murli Bhagat is appointed as the Executive Director of Corporation Bank. He has taken over the charge on 24.08.2016.

 

He is a Post Graduate, a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB) and having a Diploma in Treasury, Investment and Risk Management. Prior to this appointment, Shri Bhagat was General Manager at Bank of India. Shri Bhagat carries with him wide banking experiences of more than 32 years in various administrative and functional capacities at Branches, Zonal Office and Head Office level. He was also managing & monitoring the domestic subsidiaries and joint-ventures of the Bank.

He has held various important positions during the course of his career in view of his expertise in Retail, Credit, Treasury and International banking at Overseas Centre (Singapore).
