Goods worth 3.50 lakh stolen from automobile shop

Mangalore, August 13: Unidentified thieves have stolen Rs three and half lakhs worth goods from automobile shop located near State Bank area, Mangalore in the early morning of Friday, August 13.

Bunder police investigating the case suspected that the incident might have taken place early in the morning. The plunders have broke open the shutter door of a shop running under the name of Rajalakshmi traders located near Rao and Rao circle, State Bank.


They further stated that the thieves, who entered the shop in the early morning, have made away with copper wire used for winding work of motor, copper sheets, pump sets, and parts of other machines. The total worth of goods estimated around Rs 3.50 lakh.


Speaking after visiting the spot, Bunder police station Inspector Vinay Goankar said that the plunders have used their own vehicle to shift the stolen goods. Top police officials including the experts from finger print department have visited the spot to take stock of the situation.


Bunder police have registered case in this regard and investigations are on.
