Goods tempo car collision claims life of one person

Mangaluru, April 16, 2015 : A resident of Marpady who was travelling in a sugarcane laden goods tempo lost his life when a speeding  Innova car rammed against it  on April 15, Wednesday.

The deceased is Ashok Poojary (43). The tempo was on way to Amanottu from Moodbidri while the car was heading towards Moodbidri from Karkala. The tempo  overturned and damaged a nearby bus shelter due to the impact of the collision.

Though Ashok who sustained serious injuries was taken to the hospital, he breathed his last there. The tempo driver escaped with minor injuries.

Moodbidri police have registered a case.
