Brahmavar, Oct 21, 2019: Speaking at a session on comprehensive farming organised as part of Krishi Mela held at Zonal Agricultural and Horticultural Research Station, Brahmavar,  Dr M A Shankar, retired research director, University of Agricultural Sciences, Bengaluru, stated that farmers should give priority to conservation of soil and soil testing to know the application of nutrients, moisture content and water requirement to increase yield and income from farming.
