Good Friday observed with devotion in city

Mangaluru, April 3, 2015: Christians across the city observed  Good Friday on April 3, commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

 Adoration prayers were held throughout the day in all churches with thousands of devotees taking part in them.  The Good Friday services including the Way of the Cross and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament were held in various churches.

 

The mourning period of Christians will end on April 4, Saturday night and Easter will be celebrated on April 5 marking the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
