Gold worth Rs 6.13 lakh hidden in beading of laptop bag seized at MIA

Mangalore, Oct 22, 2014:  Gold worth Rs 6,13,568 which was hidden in silver colour paint coated wires in the beading of a black laptop bag was seized by Customs Officials at the Mangalore International Airport on October 22, Wednesday.

 

The bag was in possession of a passenger who arrived by a Jet Airways flight from Dubai.The arrested person is Shafiq Chakli (25) from Kasargod.
