Gold worth Rs 27 lakhs seized by Customs at MIA

Mangaluru, Oct 24, 2020:    Gold valued at Rs 27.36 lakhs in powdered form which was found in possession of a a passenger who arrived  by an Air India Express flight from Dubai on October 20, was seized by the Customs officials at the Mangaluru International Airport.

 

The arrested passenger has been identified as Ashraf Mohammad. The seized  24 carats gold  weighed 531.390 grams.
