Gold worth Rs 19 lakhs seized at MIA

Mangaluru, Feb 15, 2024: Gold weighing 128 grams and worth Rs 8,06,400 was seized from a passenger who arrived at MIA from Abu Dhabi. The gold was found concealed in the back cover of a mobile phone in the form of paste.

 

In another case, gold weighing 189 grams and valued at Rs 11,90,700 concealed in paste form in a trolley bag was seized from a passenger who arrived from Dubai to Mumbai.
