Gokarna Parthagali Mutt organises cleanliness drive at Carstreet

Mangaluru, Aug 14, 2016:  A cleanliness drive as part of Swachh Bharath Abhiyan was organised   at Carstreet and surrounding areas on August 14, Sunday as part of the Chaturmasya Vritha of Sri Vidyadhiraja Theertha Swamiji, the Pontiff of the Shree Gokarna Parthagali Jeevottam Mutt  at Carstreet.

 

The cleanliness drive was held in the revered presence of the Swamiji  and  under the guidance of MLC Capt. Ganesh Karnik, Mangaluru South BJP Chief Vedavyas Kamath, former MLA Yogish Bhat and others. MP Nalin Kumar Kateel was also present.

The cleanliness drive will be held every Sunday over a period of six weeks.
