Glam at Glitz ethnic, contemporary fashion wear at Ocean Pearl

Mangaluru, June 09, 2017: Neeta Kamath, popular Mangaluru-based entrepreneur, speaking to media on the sidelines of the exhibition ’Glitz, a ’Glam’ being held at Hotel Ocean Pearl in the city said fashion trends are changing very rapidly today.

The purpose of this exhibition is to bring authentic designer wear from various regions under a single roof. The exhibition caters to the women who are fashion conscious. They always want to feel the fabric and that is where the exhibition becomes significant. 

Neeta has organised expo from the past six years. She hold on to a wide database of authentic designers across Asia and she has been inviting them to the expo to feature their products.

There are more than 20 exhibitors featuring Banarasi Sarees, Karachi suites, Kalamkari wear, Jaipur jeweleries, Lucknowi, Sharara and so on. Ashley, a designer from Karachi who has put up a stall of Karachi suites, said he likes maintaining good relations with his customers in the city and that is what brings him here. Jewelery designer Poornima of LOL Studio said she always tries to bring in an element of spirituality in her works.

The exhibition is on at Pacific Hall, Hotel Ocean Pearl, Kodialbail, Mangaluru, it will go on till June 10.
