Gerosa school row: Government appoints investigation officer

Mangaluru, Feb 17, 2024: DK District in-charge Minister Dinesh Gundurao has informed that Senior IAS officer and Additional Commissioner of the Education Department in Kalaburagi Akash has been appointed as the investigation officer to probe the Gerosa school incident wherein a teacher has been accused of making offensive remarks against a religion.

 

The Minister said the Investigation Officer will undertake a thorough probe into the incident as well as the developments aftermath and submit his report to the government.

Terming the incident at the school as unfortunate, the Minister said that an IAS officer is probing into the allegations and will submit a report to the government, he told a mediapersons. Let the investigation bring out the truth.
