He was speaking in a visit to Alva’s Education Foundation in a guest talk on ‘Issues and challenges before youths of North East India’ organized by ‘Rostrum’ Speakers Club of Alva’s Education Foundation, on Wednesday, at Kuvempu Hall, Vidyagiri.

 He added, ‘’the strength of youths is just like strength of monsoon rivers, which may either cause devastation or restore lives.  As like a river, if youths are channelized properly in early stages then expected outcome can be met, otherwise they may become treacherous to the society’’.   

 He added and said, ‘’each individual should compromise for greater benefit of the society by stretching his comfort zones. One must be first try to get tagged with good human values prior to their professional life ’’.

The disintegration of values among the people of north eastern states is major cause for unrest prevail in the state, moreover the access to higher education is very low, the Gross Enrollment Ratio is 14% in Assam, is another hindrance for development, he added.  To foster national integration and strengthen the bondage between north eastern states and coastal districts is the prime concern of his visit, he stated.
