Gas tanker topples at Chervatthur, danger averted

Kasaragod Oct 11, 2016: News reports indicate that a bullet tanker transporting liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) from Mangaluru to Kannur toppled near Chervathhur on the National Highway 66 Oct 10, Monday. Accident took place after the driver reportedly lost control over driving.  No gas leakage from the tanker after the accident was detected.

Fire service and police personnel  rushed to the scene of accident and took all needed preventive measures to avert further trouble.


The incident  caused traffic inconvenience on the highway for a while,  the timely services from fire brigade and police personnel the situation was managed.
