Gas leakage, as LPG tanker topples in Shiradi Ghat

Puttur, Jan 10, 2018 : A gas-laden LPG tanker went out of its driver’s control and rolled over at Kodyakallu  turn in Shiradi ghat  on January 10 , Wednesday evening.

 

Sources said that the LPG tanker was on its way to Bengaluru from Mangaluru toppled, gas began leaking from the compartments. Fire-tenders and police rushed to the spot and took precautions to prevent any hazard.

The traffic has been  diverted to Sampaje and Charmadi ghat. This route  will be blocked upto 7.30 in the morning.
