Ganjimutt GP member dies in road mishap

Mangalore, July 7, 2014 : A member of the Ganjimutt Gram Panchayat died on the spot when he lost control over his vehicle and fell on the road, in his bid to avoid hitting a cow  at Malali Cross, Kukkatte, Ganjimutt on July 5, Saturday night. As the road was quite deserted, the accident came to the notice of the locals only on July 6, Sunday morning.

The deceased is Bhasker Alva (34) who worked as a cargo loader at Mangalore Airport. He was a resident of Bajpe and was on way home when the mishap took place.

A case has been registered by Bajpe police.
