Gang steals 2 cows by brandishing swords

Mangaluru, July 19, 2018: Two jersey cows were stolen by a gang of miscreants wielding swords from the shed of Purushotham  of Moodushedde during the wee hours of July 17, Tuesday.


Cattle theft.jpgThe value of the two milking cows is estimated at Rs 45,000.  The miscreants threatened the family members who woke up at around 3 am on hearing the sound and even killed the dog  before escaping with the cows.

A case has been registered in Kavoor Police Station.  As many as 21 cows have been stolen from the area in the recent past.


MLA Umanath Kotian who visited the spot has demanded stern action against the culprits.
