Gang brutally assaulted two men over fund collection for J&K flood

Mangalore, Oct 06, 2014:  A gang assaulted two men near a masjid at a Valachil on the outskirts of Mangalore city.  The victims are Abdul Rehaman (58) and V Abbas, residents of Valachil. The incident took place when a group was collecting funds to donate to flood affected Kashmir, after Bakrid prayers.

 

Arguments between two groups led to an assault on the duo. In a police complaint, the complainants have alleged Pathunji Ismail and his gang of assaulting them with lethalweapons. A case has been registered at Mangalore rural police station.
