GSB Kodial conducts ’Kodial Open 2016’ Badminton Tournament

Mangaluru, Sep 23, 2016: GSB Kodial conducts ’Kodial Open 2016’ Badminton Tournament at US Malya Indoor Stadium, Mangaluru on Sunday, September 11, 2016.

The tournament was inaugurated by M Padmanabha Pai of MS Pai & Co along with Padmanabha Pai of Prathignhya Caterers and Mohammed Husain of Yenmark Builders. 85 teams took part in the tournament in the Under 19 boys doubles, Men Doubles and Masters doubles category. 

Teams from Mangaluru, Karkala, Udupi, Hebri, Kundapur, Koppa and Kasargod participated in the Tournament.  Total cash prize of Rs 30,000 awarded for the winners.

Abhay M Pai & Prithvi P Pai bagged first place in Under 19 Boys doubles category, Govardhan Shenoy and Sukhesh Shenoy bagged first place in Men’s doubles category while Mahesh Prabhu and Sanjay Pai bagged first place in Master’s doubles category.

The Prizes were distributed by Ganesh Kini, Co owner of Durga Laborataries, Shiva Prasad, Distributor of Cutee Soap and Vinayak Pai of Prathignhya caterers.
