Furious buffalo creates panic on Car Street

Mangalore, Nov 14: A furious she buffalo created a situation of panic on Car Street on Nov 14, Sunday.

Reportedly, the she-buffalo was imported to Mangalore from Lakshadweep for slaughtering. A cop who tried to control the furious animal sustained minor injuries.

Finally, the police with the help of local people traced the buffalo and caught it near Ganapathi High School. Later, it was shifted to the Animal Care Trust, Shaktinagar.

Reportedly, the buffalo had been transported illegally.
