Fr Mahesh suicide case : Accused gets conditional bail

Udupi, April 16, 2020:   David D’Souza, the accused in the suicide case of Fr Mahesh D’Souza, Assistant Parish Priest of Shirva Church and Principal of Don Bosco School, has been granted conditional bail by the High Court. David  was  released on a bond and on the  condition that he will have to report at the police station twice a month.

 

David who is also a Panchayat President was arrested on the charges of abetting the suicide of Fr Mahesh D’Souza. It is alleged that David on coming to know that his wife and Fr Mahesh used to have frequent telephonic conversation, had  issued a threat to the latter over phone.
