Four of family end life at their residence in Padubelle

Udupi, Jul 13, 2017 : In shocking incident four of a family end life by consuming poision at their residence in Padubelle, Udupi on July 13 , Thursday .

The decaesed are identified as Shankaracharya (51), his wife Nirmala (42) and their children Shruthi (24) and Shreya (21). He was a proprietor of ’Shreya Jewellers’ in Padubelle. His elder daughter was engaged but the engaement was postponed due to some personnel reasons.

Sources said that Shankaracharya and his family were not seen since morning , the neighbours grew suspicious and informed the police. The bodies have been shifted to hospital for autopsy.

The reason for the extreme step is not known yet. A case  has been registered in Udupi police station.
