Four from Kundapur burnt alive as their car crashed into roadside toilet in Udayapura

Hassan, Feb 21 2019: A family of four including two children, have been burned alive as their car rammed against a roadside toilet near Udayapura, in Channarayapatna taluk, on National Highway 75, on Thursday morning, February 21, 2019

 

As soon as the car crashed against the public toilet, the engine of the car caught fire and exploded. All the four occupants of the car were burnt alive. Three of the victims have been burnt alive inside the car, while one child died when it was being shifted to a hospital. The car, belonging to one Vivek Naik of Bengaluru, was bound for Hassan from Bengaluru.

 
The victims are identified as Vivek Nayak (40), his wife Reshma alias Viva Nayak (37) and their two children Vinanthi (9) and Vignesh (5). The family was travelling from Bengaluru to Kundapur to participate in the first death anniversary of Vivek’s father.
