Mangaluru, April 6, 2020: The first coronavirus patient in Dakshina Kannada district, a 22-year-old youth from Bhatkal and three others from Kasargod were discharged from the Wenlock Hospital in Mangaluru on Monday, April 6th after revovery.
All the four have been asked to follow mandatory home quarantine for 28 days. They had returned from Dubai and were admitted to the Wenlock Hospital after they displayed symptoms of COVID-19.
Dakshina Kannada district Deputy Commissioner Sindhu B Rupesh, in a press release informed that a seal has been put on the hands of all four persons, who were discharged today.
The remaining eight persons are still receiving treatment at the Wenlock Hospital.
