Foundation for Concretization of road from Kottara to Kottara Chowki by JR Lobo

Mangaluru, Oct 15, 2016 : The foundation for concretization work of road  and underground drains from Kottara to Kottara Chowki   by JR Lobo today October 15, Saturday.

Speaking on the occasion Lobo said ,the project has been taken up following several appeals made by locals. A sum of Rs 1.5 crore has been reserved for the project and Rs 100 crore grant from Chief Minister and construction of underground drain with footpaths at a cost of Rs 1 crore.  MLA also informed that the contractor of the project assured to complete the project works in three months.

The city corporation has taken up this work of concreting this stretch of road and underground drain with footpath which is commendable.  This road is the major to most of the roads in the city . Priority would be accorded to complete all roads and footpath works in Mangaluru.

MLA JR Lobi, Mayor Harinath , MCC Standing Committee President Kavitha Sanil, Guruswamy of Ayyappa Seva Samiti, Kunhiraman and others were present.
