According to some accounts, a four member gang came in an autorickshaw to the complex at around 3 p.m.

They pounced on Roshan, a scrap dealer, as soon as he parked his two-wheeler near the complex.  Roshan has an office on the first floor of the B.G. Complex building.

It appears that Roshan managed to get away in his vehicle and returned to the complex along with his 40-year-old friend Rohit at around 5 p.m. The four persons, who were waiting near the complex, again attacked Roshan and Rohit.

While Roshan managed to escape with injuries on his head, Rohit, said to be  an auto driver, collapsed on the ground floor of the complex after being hit on his head and chest.

The police said the attackers used a heavy stone, stick and a sharp weapon to attack the two. Rohit died on spot.

It took nearly an hour for the police to arrive at the spot. Roshan has been shifted to a near by hospital.

The Barke police said they suspect the attack to be a result of the dealings of Roshan.   Search was on to find the persons involved in the murder, the police said.
