Former Stock Exchange President Jnandev Kamath No More

Mangaluru, Feb 13, 2020: Jnandev Kamath, Former President of erstwhile Mangalore Stock Exchange Limited is no more. He expired on Wednesday (12th February  2020) night at around 8:15 PM at a private hospital in the city. He had been ill for some time. He was 65 and is survived by his wife and two daughters.

Jnandev Kamath was an alumnus of SDM College of Law and Business Management. He was one the founding members of Mangalore Stock Exchange Limited. He was an avid sportsman, an accomplished cricketer, a champion rallyist and golf coach. He often played for Pentlandpet Sports Association (PPSA) in his younger days.

Later in life he migrated to Bangalore where he was working as a capital market consultant. He was on the Board of Directors of Digantha Mudrana Limited (publishers of Hosa Digantha newspaper) as Financial Director. He was also associated with Elind Computers Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore for some time.

Funeral was performed at his family farm in Nerlakatte village near Puttur on Thursday morning.
