Forest police squad rescues 13 captured parrots

Mangalore, Sep 15, 2011 : A Mangalore Forest Police squad, under the leadership of K. R. Manjunath, acted on a tip off and conducted a raid on the area near Mahalingeshwara Temple in Kavoor on September 14 at 3:00 p.m.

 

 

 

 

The team rescued around 13 wild parrots and turned over Deepak (25), who was trying to sell them, to the Kavoor police.

The police team involved in this case included IGP Narayan Gowda, K. R. Manjunath, Seetharam K., Honnappa Gowda, Basheer, Ramachandra, and others.
