Foreign currency worth over Rs 5 lakhs seized from Honnavar man at MIA

Mangaluru, Mar 02, 2021:     Customs officials at the Mangaluru International Airport have arrested one person on the charges of unauthorisedly possessing foreign currency.

 

The arrested person is Muzakkir Ahmed  of Honnavar origin.  Foreign currency worth Rs 5,52,678 has been seized from him. He was planning to fly to Dubai from Mangaluru when he was apprehended.

The currency seized from him include Dollars and Kuwaiti Dinars.
