Five more Covid-19 cases reported in udupi on Tuesday

Udupi, May 19, 2020:  Corona-positive cases in Udupi rise to five on Tuesday as 17-year-old tests positive in the evening bulletin issued by the state health department, in addition to four patients who tested positive on Tuesday noon report. With this the total active cases in Udupi has risen to 12.

Incidentally, the 17-year-old girl arrived from Chitradurga and all the four had returned from Mumbai recently.

 

The four Mumbai returnees identified as, a 24 year old woman and two men aged 24 and 38 apart from the eight year old boy.

All of them have been admitted to the Dr TMA Pai Covid Hospital.

With this, 16 confirmed cases of coronavirus have been reported so far in Udupi. Three have recovered and a 54-year-old person died on May 16.
