Five fatalities, 220 new Covid-19 cases in DK

Mangaluru, Oct 17, 2020:    Dakshina Kannada reported 220 new Covid-19 cases and five people were confirmed dead due to the virus on Friday. The district’s total Covid-19 cases stand at 27,959.

 

Five more fatalities were recorded in the district. With this, total deaths have increased to 624. The district has 3,531 active cases. As many as 391 people recovered and were discharged on Friday, taking the total discharges to 23,804.

A total of 7,784 cases were slapped on those not wearing face masks and a fine amount of Rs 9,17,225 has been collected so far.
