Fisherman falls into sea; survives by swimming for 43 hours until help came in

Kundapur, Nov 10, 2023: A 25 year old fisherman of Tamil Nadu who fell off a boat during a fishing expedition  miraculously survived in the water for two days until help came through.

 

The rescued fisherman worked for a Kerala boat and fell into the sea during adverse weather on Sunday. He remained in water with no help coming through. Though many boats passed by none noticed him. He swam in the sea for 43 hours after which fishermen from a boat which had ventured into fishing from Gangolli saw him and rescued him.

Sridhar Kharvi and Sanjeeva Kharvi managed to rescue him with the help of other fishermen.

He was taken care of and then handed over this boat owner.
