Fish carnival at Pilikula on Sunday, July 16

Mangaluru, July 14,2017: Dr. Shivarama Karantha Pilikula Nisargadama will organise its anual fish carnival in Pilikula on Sunday, July 16, 2017. The carnival will be  jointly organised by Pilikula Nisargadhama and Fisheries Department, Karnataka Fisheries Development Corporation at the Lake garden of the Pilikula Nisargadhama.

The carnival will be inaugurated by Minister of State for Fisheries, Youth Empowerment and Sports Pramod Madhwaraj on Sunday at 10.00 am. Karnataka Fisheries Development Board will put up stalls to sell varieties of fish, prawn, squid, mackerel, king fish and other fishers products at the venue. The fish delicacies will be sold at the counters. The dry fish will also available at the stalls.

The Fisheries College, Karnataka Kannada and Culture department will present variety cultural shows throughout the day. The Fisheries College will hold exhibition of colorful fishes and sale, besides create awareness.
