Fire noticed in KSRTC Volvo bus ; put off by alert public

Udupi , Oct 19, 2017 : A fire was noticed in a KSRTC Volvo bus  which was on way to Mangaluru from Bhatkal on October 19, Thursday.   As the bus was proceeding in Udupi passersby suddenly noticed fire and alerted the driver. All the 15 passengers in the bus immediately alighted from the vehicle.

 

It has been gathered that fire was seen in the rear of the bus.  The locals themselves put out the fire. The vehicle was later taken to the KSRTC depot while passengers were sent to Mangaluru by another bus.
