Fire mishap in plywood factory’s shed at Baikampady

Mangaluru, Nov 25 2015 : There were anxious moments in the Baikampady Industrial area in the outskirts of the city on November 24, Tuesday evening, when fire was noticed in the shed of  A.K. Plywoods  Factory.

 

 

The staff of the  factory  wasted no time  in trying to put out the fire using  water from  a tanker  belonging to the company. Later the fire service personnel who rushed to the spot helped in extinguishing the fire.

Luckily, the fire did not spread to the nearby  boiler unit or factories, lest the damage would have been substantial.
