Fire accident at bakery in Milagres centre, no causalities

Mangalore, April 26: A fire accident occurred in Canara traders bakery and sweets located at Milagres centre in the wee hours of Monday April 26. But no one was injured.

 

 

 

 

 

It is said that the incident took place around 3.00 am early in the morning, but came to light when, owner of the shop Noel Sandeep Menezes has opened the shutter. As soon as he saw fire and smoke inside the shop, he informed the police and fire department.

On information, the personnel’s of police and fire department have reached the spot immediately and helped to douse the fire.  Bunder police said that the fire was probably caused by short circuit.The furniture, bakery items annd equipments have been completely destroyed due to the fire  The fire has caused an estimated loss of around Rs 6 lakh.

Bunder Police have registered a complaint in this regard.
