Fire Breaks Out in Zuese Fitness Gym Center near PVS circle

Mangalore, Feb 11: A fire broke out in a Gym Centre located on the third floor of Sudheendra Super Market building near PVS Circle on Friday, February 11.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Fire officials here said that a devastating fire broke out at Zuese Fitness, a gym center located in the third floor of a multi-storeyed Sudheendra Super Market Building. The Zuese Fitness Gym centre was empty when the incident happened. There are no reports of casualty in the incident.  The cause of the fire could be a short circuit in the gym. The damage could not be ascertained yet, they said.

Timely response of two fire-tenders from Pandeshwar and Kadri situated nearby helped to control the fire from spreading to other floors thus saving a huge volume of equipments.

The roof of the building and some gym equipments have been completely charred in the incident. The remaining equipments which were partially burnt were shifted to other floors later.

 

Huge plumes of thick black smoke were seen billowing from the top floors of the building after the fire broke out. The metal roof of the building was completely gutted in the fire.
