Feast of Nativity of Mary being celebrated with gaiety

Mangaluru, Sep 8,2017 : The Feast of Nativity  is being celebrated with great fervour and enthusiasm in various parishes and churches across the city on September 8, Friday.

Thousands of faithful  visited  churches in the morning and offered  flowers to Mother Mary. Processions of Bambina of Infant Mary  are also taken out to mark the occasion.

 

 

Churches hold special masses on this auspicious day, in the presence of thousands of faithful. The celebrations being held at St Sebastian Church, Bendore, Rosario Cathedral and various churches are attended by hundreds of Christians from the respective parishes.

 The newly grown paddy and sugarcanes are being distributed to the parishioners on the occasion.
