Farangipet double murder case: Four absconding arrested

Mangaluru, Nov  17, 2017: Mangaluru DCIB police have arrested four persons in connection with  the double murder that took place near Farangipet in the outskirts of the city on September 26.

 

The absconding accused arrested are identified as Mohammed Hussain alias Munna(26), Naufal alias Toppi Naufal(25), Mohammed Asif alias Moosa Acchi(27), Ibrahim alias Dodda Putta(29).

Zia, a resident of Adyar, and Fayaz were hacked to death on the night of September 26. While Zia died on the spot, Fayaz passed away in hospital later in the night.

Acting on tip Mangluru DCIB team swung into action arrested the four accused in Udupi on November 17, Friday. They were absconding since the murder. Seven persons were already arrested in connection with the case, now the number of arrest has rised to eleven.The past enemity is said to be the motive behind the murder.

The accused are being handed over to Bantwal police for further investigations.
