Family donates vital organs of brain dead police constable

Udupi, Nov 11, 2016 : The family 39 year police constable Lawrence Selvaraj who was declared brain dead by doctors of Manipal Hospital, have decided to donate his vital organs. Lawrence was suffering from brain cancer.

 

 

The noble gesture by the family of Lawrence will give a lease of life to at least a few patients.

It is a welcome sign to note that there has been a growing awareness in the society on the importance of organ donation. The vital organs  of Lawrence will be taken   to Mangaluru   by setting up of a Green Corridor today.
