Failure in exam drives student to suicide

Udupi, Apr 16, 2019: A second PUC student who  failed in the examination in Kannada subject, has  committed suicide by hanging herself at her  residence at Hebri on April 15, Monday.

The deceased student is Prajna (18) of Nadumane village of Hebri. It is said she took the extreme step after her relatives in Bengaluru informed her about the result.

It has been gathered that her mother and grandmother were at home when she ended her life.

Hebri police have registered a case.
