FPSI award goes to NMAM students

Mangaluru, June 29, 2019: Students of Mechanical Engineering of NMAM Institute of Technology  bagged by the prestigious ’FPSI Award’ of ’Fluid Power Society of India’ for their project titled ’Automatic Waste Segregator’ held at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre in Bengaluru recently.

The exhibition is being conducted every year on account of Pascal’s day. NMAM Institute of Technology has bagged this award for the second consecutive time. The team had a tight competition with several prestigious institutions, like PES University, Reva University and was adjourned with first prize by a panel comprising professors from IITs and prestigious companies.

Students Rahul R Pai, Pavan J Bangera, Prajwal P and Mohammed Mubeen expressed delight over the victory. The project was guided by Rashmi Shetty, Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at NMAMIT. The achievement is a great push for all the students.
